"And all the roads we have to walk along are winding, and all the lights that lead us there are blinding...There are many things that I would like to say to you - I don't know how..."
Oasis

Welcome November!  You are one of my favorite months of the year!

The trees that cover the Tennessee hills are alive with the colors of fall - bright orange and yellow, deep rust and maroon, warm browns of every shade.  Even on a dreary day like today, I am in awe of the beauty (Tennessee....beautiful!).  Autumn is that last blaze of glory before we settle into the winter months - nature's way of saying "I'm going...but I'll be back."

I've been talking about, thinking about, making change for months now... but somehow the fact that it is autumn makes new changes more significant.  Like they are destined or planned to happen at this time.  It's bittersweet - but the hope of spring's renewal will bring me through the "bitter" of the fall.

We are getting so close to the end of the CD project.  Just mixing and mastering left at this point.  I am so excited to share it with all of you - it has been a labor of love, and hopefully not the last time I get to work on a project like this.

Keep checking back for new entries and for the word that the CD is complete!

"Every time I look at you, the world just melts away - all my worries, all my fears dissolve in your affection...even when I have to push to see how far you'll go"
Sarah McLachlan

Happy Thanksgiving!  It's that wonderful time of year where we take a day to reflect on all of the things that we are thankful for in our lives.  That and eat some turkey and Grandma's famous potato rolls.

In the immortal words of Irving Berlin "I've got plenty to be thankful for..."  (If you haven't seen "Holiday Inn" with Bing Crosby & Fred Astaire, RENT IT!)  Good health, a wonderfully supportive and loving family, dear friends, and enough of everything that I need.  I challenge all of you to take a little time tomorrow to really count your blessings.  It sometimes is hard to do with all of the visiting, cooking, eating, cleaning, football... but, for me, take a minute and be truly thankful.

One of the things I am very thankful for this year is the opportunity to work on my CD project - the right doors have opened at the right time, and with hard work and help where I needed it - IT IS DONE!  I will be taking it to be duplicated when I return from the holiday the first week of December, and (barring any issues) it should be pressed and shrink wrapped and in my hot little hands by about December 5th.  WOO HOO!

I am working to get the website re-design completed as well, so things will look a little different very soon!  Look for an announcement e-mail when I have the finished copies - I'll start taking orders soon! :)

Have a wonderful, safe, and restful holiday!
